We participated CIGR International Conference 2024 at Jeju, South Korea. Our lab. member, Yonghyun, Jaehwi, Jeonghyeon, and Bosung presented "Visual Scene Understanding Based on Scene Graph Generation for Cooperative Control of Dual Arm Robots", "Hybrid Automata-based Multi-Robot System of Connectivity for Cooperative Agricultural Tasks", "RSSI-Based Tracking Algorithm for Radio-Tagged Flying Insects using UAV", and "A Habitat-searching System using Aerial Image-based Photogrammetry for Ecosystem Management in Dense Environments", respectively.

ICRA 2024

We participated 2024 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) at Yokohama, Japan. Our lab. member, Yuseong presented "Field Evaluation of a Prioritized Path-Planning Algorithm for Heterogeneous Agricultural Tasks of Multi-UGVs" at Robotics and Automation in Agriculture and Forestry I session. And Eunji, Woojun and Bosung presented "Spatiotemporal Analysis System for Precision Aerial Spraying", "Evaluation of Robust Visual Servoing for Cucumis Melo Harvesting Robot", and "Development of an Aerial Search Systemfor Habitat Candidates in Unknown Environments" at Late Breaking Poster Session, ICRA 2024, respectively.

2024 COLOSS Asia International Conference and KRoC 2024 Conference

February 19-20 and February 21-24, 2024

Our various works were presented at 2024 COLOSS Asia International Conference, Seoul, South Korea and the Korea Robotics Society Annual Conference (KRoC 2024), PyeongChang, South Korea. And Bosung and Jeonghyeon won Outstanding Paper Award for the paper 'Development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles-based Wasp Tracking and  Habitat  Search  Technology' at 2024 COLOSS Asia International Conference.

ICROS-KRoC 2023 Joint Coference

December 21, 2023

Two papers were presented at ICROS-KRoC 2023 Joint Conference, Gunsan, South Korea. Among them, Yuseung won Outstanding Paper Award for the paper 'Field Evaluation of a Prioritized Path-Planning Algorithm for Heterogeneous Agricultural Tasks of Multi-UGVs'.

ICCAS 2023 and 2023 KSAM Autumn Conference

October 17-20 and November 2-3, 2023

Our various works were presented at International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS 2023), Yeosu, South Korea and the Korean Society for Agricultural Machinery (KSAM) 2023 Autumn Conference, Yeosu, South Korea. And Jaehwi, Changjo, and Eunji won Outstanding Student Paper Award for the paper 'Development of A Novel Analysis System of Temporal-Spatial Spraying Characteristic for Precise Aerial Spraying' at KSAM 2023 Autumn Conference.

Our lab. member, Jeonghyeon participated 203 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) at Detroit, USA. She presented "UAV-Based Trilateration System for Localization and Tracking of Radio-Tagged Flying Insects: Development and Field Evaluation" at "Aerial Systems - Mechanics and Control I" session, IROS 2023.

ICRA 2023

We participated 2023 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) at London, UK. Our lab. member, Changjo, Jeonghyeon, and Bosung presented "Cucumber Pedicel Detection for Robust Visual Servoing of Harvesting Robot: Field Evaluation", "3D LiDAR based Semantic SLAM for Tributary Tracking of UAV", and "Field Evaluation of Multi-Antenna-based Active Tracking System Using UAV" at Late Breaking Poster Session, ICRA 2023, respectively. And Yuseung and Jeonghyeon also presented "A Suction Cup-based Soft Robotic Gripper for Cucumber Harvesting: Design and Validation" and "Human-centered Approach for Efficient Cucumber Harvesting Robot System: Harvest Ordering, Visual Servoing, and End-effector" at the Workshop on Task-Informed Grasping IV: Agri-Food Robotics–From Farm to Fork at the ICRA 2023, respectively. Yuseung won the Best Paper Award at the Workshop on Task-Informed Grasping IV.

We participated 2022 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) at Kyoto, Japan. Our lab. member, Jaehwi, Yonghyun, Bosung, and Yuseung presented "Modeling and Control of Multi-UAV System for Tributary Mapping based on Hybrid Automata" and "An Origami-inspired Suction Cup of Robotic Gripper for Autonomous Cucumber Harvesting" at the IROS 2022.

HRA Lab. opens new Tracking Lab.

New Tracking Lab. with OptiTrack (https://optitrack.com/applications/robotics/) is opened!. More technical, field-like, and various experiments will be performed with heterogeneous filed robots in the New Tracking Lab.

We participated 2021 the 21st International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS 2021) and also had an exciting workshop at Jeju. Our lab. members, Chanyoung, Yonghyun, and Jaehwi gave talks on "Decentralized Supervision for the Cooperation of Heterogeneous Field Robots in an Orchard", "Backstepping Control of Hydraulic System to Maintain the Korean Cabbage Harvester Cutting Position", and "Genetic Algorithm-based Approach for Harvesting Robot Path Planning", respectively at the session on agricultural and construction robotics organized by Prof. Son. And Prof. Son was awarded ICROS Kwangbang Woo Academic Award.

Our works, "A Leader-Follower Control of Multi-UAV for Tributary Mapping based on Supervisory Control Theory: A Preliminary Result", "A Deep-Learning based Spray Drift Measurement System using LiDAR Point Clouds: A Preliminary Result", and "A Backstepping Control of 2-DOF Hydraulic System for Automatic Korean Cabbage Harvesting: A Preliminary Result" were presented by Jaehwi and Yong Hyun, respectively at 2021 the 36th ICROS Annual Conference, Yeosu, South Korea.
